Michelle and DJ’s Wedding!

Michelle & DJ are an awesome couple that I was lucky enough to work with on their wedding day that really re-iterrated why I love doing what I do. Honestly. They were the best. I originally met up with them at the bar! My type of meeting. The three of us met up for their consultation at a local coffee shop in Town Square around noon and quickly after we got there, DJ asked if I wanted to go down the way a bit to the Yard House instead. YES PLEASE! I was relieved. Any couple that is down to have a good beer at noon is alright by me. Plus it helps that I am not much of a yuppie, $10 coffee drinker. Our meeting went great and I was extremely excited for their wedding date. I could tell from just hanging with them for a bit that they were going to be a ton of fun!

—> Fast forward to their big day —> I met up with Michelle and the girls in her hotel at the Palazzo while they were drinking their mimosas and getting ready. I must say, Michelle was gorgeous before, but she just was glowing today. Next we headed downstairs to the party bus to head to the Chapel to meet up with the guys and the rest of the guests. Outside photographers are not allowed into almost any of the chapels on the strip so I waited outside to snap some photos of them as they came out as a married husband and wife.

Our next stop was to get some formals of everyone as well as some bride and groom shots around town before heading to Maggiano’s for dinner and the reception. Throughout the day, I had a blast with everyone. The B&G’s friends and family were so friendly and fun, everyone had such a great attitude and sense of humor. Once we arrived at the reception, these great attitudes and everyone’s sense of humor just seem to amplify! I really felt like I was hanging out with a bunch of my own friends. Great food, great company, and great music made for the best reception newlyweds could ever hope for. I was truly impressed with how perfect of a day it turned out to be for everyone. I was truly lucky to have had been part of it!

Michelle & DJ left Las Vegas to move up to New York City not too long after they were married, and although I was sad to not be able to hang with them more afterwards, I was extremely excited for them to move on to bigger and better things as a new husband and wife. Michell, DJ, I had such a great time with you two and everyone on your big day. I am so deeply happy for the both of you and I will miss you both very much! I hope to make it up to NYC and see you guys someday. Thank you for introducing me to The Chicago Brewery Co. in the Four Queens and the delicious mango beer! I wish you two nothing but the best in your future endeavors together and hope to see you both again soon!
